Gupt Vrindavan Dham Celebrates Janmashtami With Grand Festivities

Jaipur The spirit of devotion and celebration filled Gupt Vrindavan Dham in Jaipur as devotees welcomed the arrival of Lord Krishna on the auspicious occasion of Janmashtami. The temple premises resonated with chants of “Nand Ke Anand Bhayo, Jai Kanhaiya Lal Ki” as thousands of devotees gathered to seek darshan and blessings of their beloved Krishna.

The entire Gupt Vrindavan Dham was immersed in devotion, with every corner of the temple adorned in the divine atmosphere of Krishna’s love. On the sacred occasion of Janmashtami, a grand midnight maha abhishek of Lord Shri Shri Krishna-Balaram was performed using coconut water, sacred water, herbs, Panchamrit and Panchgavya.

As part of the celebrations, 108 varieties of royal bhog were offered to the deities. After each abhishek, devotees offered sweets along with makhan-mishri as bhog to Lord Krishna.

Temple President Amitasana Das extended Janmashtami greetings and said that the arrival of Yashodanandan was celebrated with great enthusiasm at Gupt Vrindavan Dham. He said the deities were dressed in beautiful yellow and blue attire and were given a Panchamrit bath using sandalwood oil.

He further said that Lord Krishna is the cause of all causes and, whenever righteousness declines and unrighteousness rises, Krishna incarnates in every age to restore dharma and establish righteousness.
