Jaipur: The nectar-like essence of the Ramayana and India's eternal Sanatan culture is set to resonate on foreign soil. Renowned spiritual orator Pandit Pradeep Gaur will be organizing a five-day Ram Katha (spiritual narration of Lord Ram's life) in Bangkok in the coming days.
Over 100 devotees and traders from Jaipur, Rajasthan, and Madhya Pradesh will travel to Thailand to attend this spiritual event. A remarkable aspect of the event is the participation of foreign nationals, who will join in the Ram Katha and accompanying Yajna rituals—helping to spread the message of Indian spirituality and culture globally.
Pandit Pradeep Gaur emphasized that the Ram Katha is not only a tribute to the virtues of Lord Ram but also serves as a guiding light for facing future challenges with restraint and righteousness.
During the event, a Yajna (sacred fire ritual) will be performed on a Shree Yantra, symbolizing liberation from negative traits like desire, anger, greed, ego, and envy. The ritual aims to inspire wisdom, peace, and moral clarity among the attendees.
Event coordinator Shrikant Samariya shared that participants will also visit Indian temples and cultural landmarks across Thailand, offering a unique blend of spirituality and tourism. He added that the initiative will act as a cultural bridge between India and Thailand, truly embodying the spirit of “Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam”—the world is one family.
In addition to narrating the story of Lord Ram, the Katha will include references to sacred places like Mathura (Krishna’s birthplace), Mahakaleshwar in Ujjain, the Amarnath Yatra, and other prominent pilgrimage sites of India. This will offer foreign attendees a deep insight into India’s rich religious and cultural heritage.
The glory and divine aura of the grand Shri Ram Temple in Ayodhya will also be highlighted. According to the organizers, this event aims not only to promote devotion but also to strengthen cultural ties between India and the international community.
