Wildlife Week Begins with Cleanliness and Tree Plantation Drive in Jaipur Safari Range

On the occasion of the 71st Wildlife Week, a cleanliness drive was conducted in the Jhalana Safari area under the Jaipur Regional Forest Range. The drive covered the area from the Safari Gate to the Kali Mata Temple Gate, where thorough cleaning activities took place.

In addition, a tree plantation campaign was carried out along the parking track, where 11 saplings of indigenous species such as banyan (bargad), peepal, pilkhan, belpatra, and gular were planted.

A similar cleanliness drive was also conducted outside the Safari Gate of Aamagarh Safari. The event saw active participation from the range staff, gypsy drivers, and volunteers from Raksha Sanstha.

Devotees visiting the temple were also sensitized about avoiding the use of plastic. Cleanliness drives were organized at all checkpoints (naka) of the forest range as part of this initiative.
